On 16 June 2024, Kiel University (CAU) welcomed six students from Kherson State Agrarian and Economic University (KSAEU) for the final stage of the universities’ joint training course. After working together online since April, the German and Ukrainian students met in person to continue their projects.
Working together in Kiel
During the visit, participants continued developing and finalising their projects. Working face to face gave them time to discuss their approaches and exchange ideas with their course partners.
The students presented their projects on 21 June 2024. The topics and presentations are described in our report on the final session.
Academic and cultural exchange
The programme also included activities beyond the classroom. Students explored Kiel and the surrounding region and shared a dinner together, adding informal encounters to their academic work.
