On the 16th of June, six students from Kherson State Agrarian and Economic University arrived in Kiel as part of a joint training course between our universities, which began in April this year. This visit marked a significant milestone in our collaborative efforts. Until now, communication between the German and Ukrainian students had been exclusively online. But last week, they finally had the opportunity to meet face-to-face, which brought a new level of excitement and engagement to the program.

During their stay in Kiel, the students participated in various academic activities. The personal interaction improved their teamwork, making the project work more enjoyable, interesting, and effective. The exchange of ideas and cultural perspectives was very successful, providing a deeper understanding and appreciation of each other’s backgrounds.

Social activities were also integral to their visit. The students had the chance to explore the beautiful city of Kiel and its region, gaining a well-rounded understanding of German culture and lifestyle. As part of our social activities, we decided to celebrate our efforts with a delightful dinner together. It proved to be a wonderful evening!

Besides other activities, one of the goals for this week was to continue developing the projects students have been working on since April and finalise them. They successfully presented their projects last Friday. Details on the presentations, topics discussed, and more interesting information will be included in our upcoming article.
