On the 21st of June, the final day of our joint training course, students from both Kiel University and Kherson State Agrarian and Economic University had the opportunity to showcase their hard work by presenting the projects they had been finalising over the past week.

Students were divided into groups of two, with each group consisting of one Ukrainian and one German student. Each group was assigned a different topic, which they were to present in a plenary session in front of the other course participants. The topics were diverse and thought-provoking. Some groups analysed inflation and its impact on economic stability in different regions, such as Germany, Ukraine or the European Union as a whole. Other groups explored socioeconomic issues like inequality in OECD countries, while another delved into the anatomy of US economics and politics.

The tasks assigned to the students were designed to challenge them and encourage a deep understanding of global economic issues. It is evident to say that all groups successfully solved the problems they were given and gained valuable insights. They enjoyed working together and are looking forward to pursuing similar projects in the future.

In reflection, these moments have showed not only the dedication and collaboration between students from CAU and KSAEU but also the importance of international academic partnerships in developing a deep understanding of global economic challenges. As we move forward, we aim to build on these insights to improve future collaborative efforts and explore new opportunities in economic research and education.
