On 21 June 2024, students from Kiel University (CAU) and Kherson State Agrarian and Economic University (KSAEU) presented their final projects on the closing day of the joint training course. The presentations concluded a week of working together in Kiel.
Presenting economic analyses
Participants worked in pairs, each consisting of one German and one Ukrainian student. Each pair examined a different topic and presented its analysis to the other course participants in a plenary session.
The projects addressed inflation in Germany, Ukraine and the European Union, inequality in OECD countries, and the US economy and politics. One presentation examined EU inflation by product group.
A shared academic conclusion
The final session brought the students’ joint project work into a common presentation setting. It connected the course’s academic content with direct exchange between participants from the two universities.
