Meeting of KSAEU students with the City President of Kiel

November 27 marked a significant date for the students of Kherson State Agrarian and Economic University (KSAEU). Apollinariia Kaprelova and Kristina Skibina, students of Public Administration, Law, and Humanities, along with Alona Mykytas, a student of Social and Behavioral Sciences, received certificates for the “Kiel City Scholarship 2024.”

The official certificate awarding ceremony took place in the historic town hall of Kiel, Germany. The President of the City Council, Bettina Aust, congratulated the students on their achievements and later engaged in a friendly conversation with them. The students shared insights about their studies at KSAEU, discussed their future plans, and emphasized the importance of the support provided by the university.

President Bettina Aust highlighted Kiel’s significant role as a strategic maritime center that actively fosters international partnerships, including its collaboration with the city of Kherson. As part of the event, a guided tour of the town hall was organised, during which the students learned more about the city’s history. A climb to the tower offered picturesque views, adding a memorable touch to the experience.

The partnership between KSAEU and Christian-Albrecht University of Kiel (CAU) plays a key role in creating favourable conditions for international collaboration. Thanks to these efforts, students have the opportunity to realise their potential on a global level. This event vividly demonstrated how our project actively promotes international mobility, supports its students, and provides them with new opportunities for learning and professional growth.
