Our partner university, the Kherson State Agrarian and Economic University, was founded 150 years ago. It is celebrating this anniversary this week with a large festive event and a scientific conference. Unfortunately, due to the ongoing Russian aggression, the celebration cannot take place in the city of Kherson.

Despite these difficult circumstances, we extend our heartfelt congratulations to our partner university on reaching this remarkable milestone. We admire their resilience and commitment to maintaining the spirit of learning and collaboration even in such challenging times.
While we regret that we cannot be there to share this celebration in person, we stand with our partners in solidarity. We remain hopeful that peace and freedom will soon return to Kherson, Kiel’s twin city, and that we will once again be able to participate in their events and academic exchanges, united in friendship and shared goals.
