On November 12, students from Kherson State Agrarian and Economic University — Alona Mykytas, Apollinariia Kaprelova, Olena Smolinkina and Kristina Skibina, who are currently studying under the academic mobility program in Kiel in Germany, together with Associate Professor of the Department of Public Administration, Law and Humanities, Tetiana Skibina, attended a lecture at Christian-Albrechts-Universität at Kiel. The speakers of the event were the Consul General of Ukraine in Hamburg, Iryna Tybinka, Head of the Department of Eastern European History at Kiel University, Prof. Martina Winkler, and organiser of the event series, Prof. Kai Carstensen.
The lecture focused on the challenges Ukraine faces amid the full-scale war and the importance of diplomatic efforts on the international stage. The speakers discussed the current situation in Ukraine, misconceptions about the war that exist within German society, and the importance of decisively implementing the Victory Plan to achieve lasting and just peace.
Before the lecture, the students had the opportunity to personally engage with Ms. Tybinka and Ms. Winkler, discussing topics such as the prospects of international cooperation, the significance of economic support, and career development opportunities in diplomacy and public administration. This experience is invaluable for future professionals.
Our project actively supports initiatives aimed at enhancing the quality of education and professional growth for its students, providing them with opportunities to engage with leading experts, international figures, and successful professionals from various fields.
