As part of the ACTI-K² Summer School 2026, supported by the German Academic Exchange Service (DAAD) and jointly organised by Kherson State Agrarian and Economic University (KSAEU) and Kiel University (CAU), participants took part in the Ceravis Farm Day. The event provided an excellent opportunity to combine practical learning with professional exchange and discussions on current developments in agriculture and agribusiness.

Exploring Innovations in Agriculture
Participants had the opportunity to learn about recent developments in the agricultural sector and establish valuable professional contacts. Particular interest was generated by presentations on artificial intelligence in agriculture, modern fertilisation strategies, crop production and livestock management.
The programme offered valuable insights into how innovative technologies and data-driven approaches are shaping the future of agriculture, helping farmers improve efficiency, productivity and sustainability.
Exchange and Appreciation
Beyond the technical programme, the event provided an excellent platform for dialogue and networking. Students exchanged ideas with agricultural professionals and gained a deeper understanding of current challenges and opportunities within the agricultural sector.
We would like to express our sincere gratitude to the Faculty of Agricultural and Nutritional Sciences at CAU and the Student Council of Agricultural and Nutritional Sciences at CAU for their support in organising this excursion for the participants of the ACTI-K² Summer School. Their contribution helped make this valuable educational experience possible and further strengthened international academic cooperation and exchange.
