A new week of the ACTI-K² Summer School 2026, supported by the German Academic Exchange Service (DAAD) and jointly organised by Kherson State Agrarian and Economic University (KSAEU) and Kiel University (CAU), began with an engaging guest lecture. Participants attended a lecture delivered by Dr. Kateryna Sovach, Associate Professor at KSAEU, dedicated to the principles of data analysis and interpretation.

Understanding the Value of Data
During the session, participants explored the importance of data analysis for informed decision-making and gained insights into modern approaches to working with information. The lecture highlighted how data can be transformed into meaningful knowledge that supports research, professional practice and evidence-based solutions.
Learning Through Practical Examples
Through practical examples and discussion, participants examined different ways of analysing and interpreting data, as well as the challenges involved in drawing reliable conclusions. The lecture encouraged critical thinking and demonstrated the value of data literacy in today’s increasingly data-driven world.
We sincerely thank Dr. Kateryna Sovach for her engaging and insightful lecture, which provided participants with valuable knowledge and became an excellent start to a new week of the Summer School.
